Exam Preparation

"Important changes are occurring to the JFICM Fellowship Exam in 2008. The Written Section will combine the traditional Short Answer Questions (SAQ's) with the unmanned components of the OSCE's (data analysis and interpretation, monitoring and equipment) in 2 written papers. We have incorporated these changes into the Cri-IQ website.The Written Exam section of Crit-IQ works as follows;

  1. JFICM questions :
    These questions currently incorporate all the SAQ's from previous JFICM papers, and are sorted by system basis. You can choose to do a number of questions, with a timer, and your typed answers will be e-mailed to you at the end of your session. You can choose to write the answers freehand, which will obviously give you a more realistic exam scenario.The questions are updated every exam.

  2. Crit-IQ Interactive Questions "CritIQ's":
    These are a bank of questions designed by us, involving investigations, equipment, monitoring, and images. They are similar to the traditional OSCE, in that there is a scenario with 5 questions following. As the new JFICM exam format is introduced, we will try to evolve the content and style of the "CritIQ's" to mirror it as closely as possible.

Good luck, please feedback to us any suggestions or questions you may have about this site
